Business Central (AL)
I entered the ERP world in 2022, when we upgraded our existing NAV2009 system to Business Central at my workplace — and I led that near year-long rollout project. Go-live took place successfully in the spring of 2023.
During the rollout I handled contact with the reseller and the key users, coordinated the project participants, wrote the Functional Requirement Document (FRD) and tested the scheduled tasks. I also tracked the project budget and the certificates of completion, and trained and supported my own team.
I have worked on the production side of the system ever since. So far I have built 30 reports, 14 custom list pages and the extensions below — production orders, delivery note layouts, open order summaries and capacity ledger reports, to name a few.

Change management
Implements the change control process recommended by the IATF standard inside Business Central. The app has its own documentation site.

Registers problems arising in the production process or on the machines. The responsible engineer sees the report and investigates it against the given description and parameters, attachments included.

Registers sample production with its own routing and bill of materials. The status (in preparation, awaiting scheduling, completed, shipped) advances automatically, and the app creates the production order.
